Sound Youth Counselling is proud to offer a branch of service dedicated to providing sponsored youth mental health support: a Sound Community.

We know there is a high need for services in our community but that financial barriers often prevent access to these supports.

Since SYC began, we have remained committed to doing whatever we can to increase access to mental health services: we offer sliding scale pricing, coverage for those eligible through the VQRP and NIHB programs, and deliver free educational webinars.

But we know we can do more!

Our Sound Community Initiative provides individuals with the opportunity to sponsor counselling for those in need, at our reduced sliding scale rate. 100% of funding goes towards services and programs that improve mental health in our community through direct-service provision (ex. counselling) and capacity building programs (ex. educational resources, like webinars).

It is important to note that Sound Youth Counselling is NOT a charity or a not-for-profit, and cannot provide tax receipts. However, we can (and will) provide complete transparency about how sponsorship dollars are used.
