Who
For children ages 6-10 years-old with neurodivergent tendencies
To ensure a well-supported learning environment, this group has a maximum registration of 4 participants.
What
This four week group uses the evidence-based principles of LEGO®- Based Therapy and turns lego building into a collaborative, fun and socially engaging environment.
Working in small teams, children complete building challenges by taking on distinct roles like the "Architect", "Supplier" or "Builder". This builds practice with communication skills, collaborative problem-solving, active listening, and emotional regulation. Your child will be guided with in-the-moment coaching to help navigate frustration, practice turn-taking, and seeing the bigger picture.
Each child receives a booklet of instructions to recreate their LEGO® builds at home.
