Academic Support

We know that academic success (and academic struggles) can have a significant impact on a young person’s mental health, school attendance, and peer relationships.
AND we know that finding the right support, when you need it, can be hard - that’s why we have Meghan - our academic support team member!

(and please keep in mind that academic support is not covered under insurance benefits.)

Kids who do well in math, generally like math. Confidence in math is a big key to success.

Why it’s important: sometimes, we just need some extra help understanding a particular concept, studying for a test or exam, or working through an assignment.

What it is: individual one-on-one support.

Investment: $60/session (+ hst)

Why it’s important: when basic skills and concepts are learned, it frees up attention and memory space to grasp harder concepts when they come along in the curriculum. If we miss learning some of these foundational components or if we aren’t given enough time to master them, we can feel left behind.

What it is: individual support for students struggling in math or looking for new strategies to learn missed skills. Meet with Meghan for an assessment of basic skills (approx. 30-minutes, and then receive a tailored work plan to build the skills and strategies you need.

Investment: $130/session (+ hst)
